About Our Pastor

Pastor Mike Callahan was born in Slidell, La in 1964. He attended Boyet Jr. High for 1st - 9th grades and Slidell High School for 10th - 12th. At age 19 he became a born again believer in Jesus Christ, and gave his life to the ministry of the Gospel at age 21. Pastor Mike, while in Seminary became a Music/Youth Pastor and spent 12 years fulfilling this Ministry. At age 24 he met and married the love of his life: Susan. They have been blessed with 7 children all of which are girls. At age 34 Pastor Mike accepted the position of Senior Pastor in Hammond, LA. In 2002 he felt the call to begin a new Church in Slidell because of his passion for his hometown. In 2008 that church merged with another congregation and is now known as True Life Church. Pastor Mike's vision is to make an impact on Slidell, to make it a better place from a spiritual standpoint, and to do his best to fulfill the call of God on his life.
